COVID-19 Action Plan

We have developed a thorough business continuity plan and we have taken necessary steps to reduce the risk to our employees and customers and assure the continuation of our business operations, by taking precautionary measures to ensure that we minimise the spread of the virus in our venue, keeping staff and visitors safe from infection and maintain our business operation during this difficult time.

Below are some of the steps we are taking to ensure you are protected as much as possible while visiting the Pulse Gaming Lounge and feel confident when booking your next session with us:

  1. We have created “Gaming Booths” which will be provided to people who make either a Virtual Reality booking or F1 Racing Booking. These booths are yours for the duration specified in your booking and act as your personal and private space. Booths are 1.5m apart from the back of each sofa to keep you sufficiently distant from other players.
  2. Bookings for activities will be kept to the person booking and members of their social “bubble” only. When you book the F1 Simulators for example, even if you only book 1 simulator, the online booking system will block the other cars from being booked by people you don’t know.  This ensures that you are only in close proximity to friends or family that you arrived with.
  3. All equipment will be thoroughly sanitised after each use using surface cleansers approved to be effective against corona virus.
  4. Alcohol gel is to be used by any visitor entering the venue, regardless of whether they plan to use our equipment or not. Players are also required to use alcohol gel prior to touching or using any equipment.

VENUE HIRE BOOKINGS

If you have booked a “Venue Hire” event, please allow extra time than originally scheduled. A full sanitation will take place before you will be allowed to enter the venue. When your booking is taking place, no other persons will be permitted to enter the venue for your protection. If any attendee to your event is feeling any flu-like symptoms, please encourage them to stay at home and not attend your booking.

KITCHEN

Food and drinks are now available to be eaten in your assigned booth in between or at the end of gameplay. All food must be consumed within your booking slot to allow us time to clean and sanitise the booth before the next group arrives.

COMPETITIONS, EVENTS AND TOURNAMENTS

We are continuing to pursue hosting events and competitions in our PC Gaming Arena and F1 ESports Events. While events are taking place, face masks will be mandatory to participate as players will be in close proximity to other players. Face masks may be provided to participants before entering the venue if you do not have your own. Movement inside the venue while under current precautionary measures will be restricted and under close supervision of staff. Any one breaking the measures put in place or not responding to staff instruction will be disqualified from the event without a refund and blacklisted from future competitions.

FREE RESCHEDULING

We strongly encourage everyone to listen to the advice of medical professionals during this pandemic. If you feel ANY flu-like symptoms, protect your friends and loved ones by staying at home and self-isolating for 14 days. In the event that you cannot attend your booking due to the corona virus, please contact us at the earliest opportunity to cancel your booking.

CANCELLATION DUE TO COVID-19

Full Refund: If you cancel your booking at least 24 hours prior to your event taking place, you will be entitled to a full refund as stated in our Booking Policy.

Free Reschedule: If you cancel your booking within the 24 hour window, you will be entitled to reschedule your booking free of charge at any time convenient for you, as many times as you need to fulfil your booking.

Venue Closure: If for any reason the Pulse Gaming Lounge is forced to closed e.g. Government lock down, staff illness,  and we are unable to fulfil your booking, you will be entitled to full refund to your original payment method.
